As you are aware following the Prime Ministers briefing on Sunday, we took further steps to keep both staff and our students safe during a time when we all have to minimise travelling and the risk of transmitting this virus and DCCA is now closed for all courses for the duration of the current crisis.
You will understand that in these unprecedented times refunding monies paid for bookings or courses will take longer than might have been the case in the past.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as DCCA staff, Weymouth College and their Finance team work in very difficult circumstances to process the very high volume of requests for refunds. We will be in touch with you as soon as we are able.
These requests – although of course understandable – will unfortunately have a heavy negative impact on the centre’s cash flow and potential future. If any of our new or returning students feel able to ‘roll over’ their paid course fees to the next available course start date that would greatly relieve the current pressure on our staff and offer very positive support for the future of DCCA.
For those of you who have left ongoing projects at the centre, e.g. Pottery, Lino prints, book binding, can we assure you they will be put away safely.
