Enjoy drawing some early Spring flowers in black and white graphite pencil in this one day botanical drawing workshop. Snowdrops, aconites, grape hyacinth, celandine and witch hazel all give ample opportunity to study different forms, shapes and textures. We will pay particular attention to the roots and shoots of the bulbs but will also enjoy drawing the flowers.
You will be encouraged to use a full range of graphite pencils and will be shown a variety of marks and techniques from clear outlines to sharp hatching and smooth, rich blending.
This will be a relaxed, fun workshop suitable for all skills and you will receive all the support you need to achieve a pencil drawing that is botanically accurate but also visually pleasing.
